God is amazing you know. He answers prayers in a way none can fathom. I've been away for a month in Northern Ireland - the craziest and most wonderful time I've had. I was challenged by God's word in a way I haven't been for a long time and have found myself trusting and talking to him so much more. It's amazing the way he answers prayer. You can see it in everything. How can God not be sovereign?

Even when I am in a total pit of dispair and cry myself to sleep, God is there and comfort me. He puts his arm around me and envelops me in his love. He's like a breath of summer in the middle of winter, like the first flower in spring. A first love that never fails. A friend I can always call on by name and trust that he will handle me with care and do nothing but the best for me.

Where is God in the darkness? He's right there, right beside you holding a lamp and showing you the way free.
