Perhaps there was some hope left in her fragile body, but only time could tell.
Rain pounded on her window as if the world itself was mourning with her. The raindrops hit the window with a tap which echoed her pounding heart beat. The heart beat of a woman with a broken spirit.
Silent tears flowed down her pale cheeks. It was as though every tear washed away more of the colour on her face as a clown wipes off his face paint. Her usual wild blonde her lay limp on her shoulders and her green eyes which used to light up when she laughed were now red as though a fire had run through her spirit and left her eyes burning.

The silent tears were soon accompanied by gasps, which tried to catch the last glimpes of life. She raised her lifeless hand to the window covered in frost and gazed out into the dark sky.

Winter had come. Just in time to be greeted by the cold and desolate time in her life.
