Who would have thought

Who would have thought that I would be blogging again so soon. It's Australia Day, this is the first year I actually have any idea what it was about - I guess HSIE was useful for something.
Today I got up around 8am, I woke up to the DVD of mum's primary schools band camp... my flute ensembles were playing - let's just say it wasn't the best wake up call!
I got up and did some scrapbooking - I finished my scrapbook of photos from when I went to Japan in 2003. It's good to have it done! This week I also finished my fairy!! YAY!
I went to Castle Hill too, to find some letters for my scrapbook, but they didn't have any. I got home from there around 11am and finished off my scrapbook.
After that (which was about 1 or so) I went over to bec's house.. it was sort of an Australia Day celebration but not. We ate pizza and chatted. We then watched the Count of Monte Christo. It was pretty good - a kind of vocal movie if you are watching it with me. I was gasping and things cause it was quite intense, but none the less I enjoyed it. I also got to chat to Caro which was nice - she's at KYLC. I then did Alistair's hair in braids, it was lots of fun - i might see if i can put up some photos, I have to get them off my phone too, and get Ali-o's permission.
Jono then turned up - that was a surprise... hehe.. people enjoyed my scream haha. And that was my day really.
We are going to watch Australia Day fireworks tonight, mum is all patriotic this year. Should be fun.

I think that is all for now, I can't think of much to write.

Talk soon,
Jen

oh... 2nd post in a day!

I forgot to add as a disclaimer

*as far as I am concerned Johnny Weaver isn't a real person, I have never taught him

and in the words of Napoleon Dynamite..

child: "what are you going to do today"
N D: "WHATEVER I FEEL LIKE DOING..... GOSH!"

it's still a while...

I was just going to write.. "still waiting" here, but then i thought you had all been waiting enough so I should blog.

I recieved this rather concerning email earlier this week...

"Hi Jen Yager

I must confess that as I write this email I fear for my own state of wellbeing. It is always a risk communicating with you, as I discovered in a most herculean way on Sunday night.
I realised when we were in Naraweena that you liked to joke, but only of recent days has it come to my attention that I now would describe you as having a wicked sense of humour (and I use the word 'wicked' in a highly literal way, its synonym being 'evil'). My first instinct of sympathy goes out to little Johnny Weaver, who will be perhaps traumatised forever because of one year of 3rd class where he was picked on by his own teacher...and therapy is so expensive you know..."

I must say, I was only slightly aware of this concerning and horrible habit I have seemed to have developed. I can only hope that in the future I might be able to break it. I have also let those concerned know that I will be helping little Johnny Weaver (whoever that child is) pay for his future therapy. In order to make this complete I have begun a fund... the help Johnny survive fund. If you wish to contribute, click here.

Enough of little Johnny Weaver, who I thought looked like a beaver... (tee hee).

I went to Newcastle this week to see Jess, it was great fun. We visited the beaches, baths, went out to dinner in the local RSL and on Derby St, went to lookouts at sunset (beautiful!) and even went to a wild life reserve for a picnic lunch. It was a great time, I had a big grin when I saw 18 ocean liners in one line of sight! It was amazing, definately one of the highlights!

Well, I've got to continue conversing with some people, but Lo and Behold! i'm sort of back!
