What's with the spamming comments. It's as though someone actually goes through the blog and reads it! It's so weird.

It's Saturday night, about a week since I last posted.
Sunday was a pretty regular day... I had church, went to Andrew's for lunch, had youth group... WaiT! NO! Sunday wasn't just an ordinary day!!! It was Sarah's birthday! A year since she became a Christian!
We kinda had a party type thing at church - I bought her flowers (with Ollie) and Sarah got up and spoke up the front (I cried and she cried all through the service). It was lovely, and I was so chuffed to be able to celebrate that day with her!

Monday I had prac again, it was my second last day so I was a little bit sad. It was really nice though - the kids were pretty good, I was kinda stressed because I did an art lesson with them and it was a bit messy - but it was good. I had teaching in the afternoon, my kids thought I was crazy :: defends self :: I was just happy!!!!!!!!!!! And then that night I had bible study - It was great fun!

Tuesday was my last day at prac. Mum made me a crepe for breakfast - it was so sweet. I had a wonderful day at school, and when it became time to go in the afternoon the kids made a circle, got me to stand in the middle and they sang for she's a jolly good fellow and gave me 3 cheers and things like that. I thought I was going to try, some of the girls came and gave me hugs too. When I was saying goodbye to my teacher she gave me a huge hug - it was soooo sweet! I'm really really really going to miss my class - they were absolutely delightful.
Tuesday afternoon I taught, and then went to the band information night for my mum's school to help kids try out the flute, and then I went to dinner in Killara with some of Steve's friends and steve, sarah bec etc. That was good fun - food is good (depending on how many peices you eat :-P)

Wednesday I stayed home... (I think?) Wait.... i'm trying to remember... I think in the morning I slept in a bit, then I tried to do some work (didn't really succeed because I was a little distracted by something good that happened on tuesday!) I had a flute lesson then in the afternoon which was good, then orchestra.

Thursday I went to a Schools Spectacular rehearsal with mum and her choir. That was good fun, I had a good time with the girls and there were many laughs!!!!!!!!!!
I came home in the afternoon, chilled out for a bit, then we had K4C (kids club) that night. It was great fun!!! I had missed it over the past few weeks - hanging out with the kids, being involved doing things gives you such a great kick!

Friday I taught in the morning, then went to Normanhurst (prac school) because I forgot to get my teacher to sign some things. I then came home did some work on a uni assignment, had bible study at Cherrybrook, came home, went to uni to drop some things off, then came home did some more work. I had to go out to get some things to finish my poster and then I came home and did my assignment, spoke on msn, watched Save the last dance... and that was friday.

Today I went shopping with Sarah, Liz and their mum - it was really fun! I went back to Sarah's house afterwards and we watched an interview with Michael Bublé it was really good!!!! I came home a bit after that finished and cleaned the study... and now here I am sitting here... tired ready to go to bed!

Tomorrow my orchestra is playing in Leura so I am driving up to the mountains at 8:30 (which is actually 7:30 given daylight savings... bah - i like sleep!). Should be ok, not really looking forward to it, but I guess it will be fun once I actually get there and start playing!!

Anyway, time to go!

Love,

Jen jen

Zone 3

Well well!! As I sit here Sarah is massaging my shoulders, I am on Andrew's lappy at his house. We just came back from Zone 3 (lazer zone!) It was sooooo much fun! Running around shooting people (of course not with "real" guns). The first game I sucked cause I didn't really know what was happening - but then, the second time all the PY session team (well most) and Sarah and I went on the one team and kicked but!!!! WOOOOOO go us!

At the moment I am at Andrew's place, with Bess and Jono (and of course Sarah).
We are going to go see Pride & Predjudice tonight - should be good fun! A good movie that one (well at least the 6 hour version was).

Funny funny.

Moo. Said the cow. Wolf said the dog. Quack said the pig. And they all walked off around the corner and drank tea.

The end.

Just read my last blog entry and laughed. I was in one of those moods again! haha.

I'm on prac at the moment. It's really fun, although I'm pretty tired. The kids, I think, are loving having the extra teacher in the room. Last week we did a music and dance lesson called "The Dinosaur Bash". The kids loved it, and every day I get asked if we are going to do it again!!! haha.

Some amusing questions I've been asked.
"Mrs Yager.. what do you wear to university?"
"Miss Yager, why do you wear those shoes every day?"
"Miss Yager, what shirt are you wearing under your coat today?"

They have a thing with my appearance I think.

That is all. There isn't anymore.

Oh except - MSN is fun. I have started talking to this person and they amuse me! YaY! (and they don't just amuse me, they are fun to talk to - keep me awake to later hours... rather than 7pm!)
Oh, and also got 1st at my eistedford last night. YaY! was for Mei by Fukushima - i was very surpriesd, the song sucks. You should have seen the audience nearly throw up - it has no tune!

About time you say

Well,
Michael buble was awesome and a half. I think i've become hooked on him forever more. He's totally down to earth, has spark, spunk and charm - not to mention being pretty good looking!

Yes, that is a photo from Sunday night!
The concert was so worth the wait - he was tops. I don't really know what else to say, it was magical and I loved it. It's one of the few things that de-stresses me at the moment, listening to his music.
His songs have so much meaning, and it just has struck me and sticks with me.

I think one day I'd love to meet him and just see what he's really like. He seems a top guy and it would be nice. Either that, or help me meet someone just as down to earth, sparky, spunky and charming - and someone who would sing Song for you, you and I and that's all to me and I'll be head over heels.

my screws hurt. I just noticed over the past week how painful they are all the time.
It's like whenever something hits my knee, when i kneal down there is a thing in the way that is really sensitive.
I wonder if it will ever stop being sore. I noticed at uni that the desks suck and I hit my knee on it and it throbs when I do.
I don't like it. It almost makes me consider asking my surgeon to reopen my knee and remove them... he said he could if they annoy me.
:: thinks ::
My knee also gets stiff really quickly.

Anyway onto other matters. This weekend has been rather fun! Friday night we had UFO night (unfinished objects - our womens craft night at church). It was good fun. Monica, Amanda, Bec, Sarah, Amy, Mary, Angela, Dawn and Mum and I were there. It was quite lovely. I decorated a box. We listened to phantom too and sang a lot.

Saturday I went to the journey (a mission simulation game) with Bec from uni. It was really good - i'll blog more about this soon.

Then Sarah and I had dinner at Café insomnia (photos below) and headed into the opera house for the michael bublé. Unfortunately for us we left before it started... and so did everyone else. Due to high winds the concert got postponed to tonight. But we're still going YaY. It was in the opera house forecourt so they couldn't exactly have it go ahead (photos below).

Instead we came back to my house and we watched old summer camp videos (with alligator man and jockey boy - films made for the camps)... things like "he's gone beam me up scotty and he's gone like a light in a blackout" and "jockey boy, jockey boy, jockey boy, jockey boy!" quotes we like. We then watched Phatom of the Opera and I took sarah home.

Today at church a few of us had green faces (see photos). This was because Summer Camp is coming! And the theme for this year is "aliens in this world". We painted our faces green, therefore, for advertising. Except the funny thing was we never made an announcement so people are still confused as to why half hte youth group had green faces this morning! WooT GO us!

No more talk of darkness, forget those wide-eyed fear. I'm here, nothing can harm you, my words will warm and calm you.
Let me be your freedom, let daylight dry your tears I'm here, with you, beside you to guard you and guide you

Say you'll love me every waking moment turn my head with talk of summer time. Say you'll need me with you now and always, promise me that all you say is true, that's all I ask of you.
Let me be your shelter, let me be your light. You're safe, no one will find you, your fears are far behind you.

All I want is freedom a world with no more night, and you always beside me, to hold me and to hide me.

Then say you'll share with me, one love one lifetime let me lead you from your solitude. Say you'll need me with you, here beside you. Anywhere you go let me go too. Christine, that's all I ask of you.

Say you'll share me with me, one love one life time say the word and I will follow you. Share each day with me, each night, each morning. Say you'll love me...
Love me, that's all I ask of you.
Anywhere you go let me go too, love me, that's all I ask of you.

I love that song.
