Uni...teaching...life... so busy

Hi Everyone,
I thought since I haven't posted since Thursday night I would do so, again, before I go to sleep. Things are pretty flat out in my life at the moment, I feel like I'm waking up, going to uni, coming home, teaching/studying, going to bed. It seems as though that is a relatively realistic picture as well. The end of semester is such a flat out time, assessments coming thick, hard and fast. Although I have been so impressed and proud of myself with the results I have achieved. It is certainly plain to me that this is something I am passionate about (in the words of Sarah), and something that God had planned for me.
My 18th Birthday was a b-l-a-s-t. I had a wonderful day on Friday - from teaching in the morning where my kids sang happy birthday and "for she's a soggy marhsmallow and sausages on the bus" (for those of you who are struggling.. think "for she's a jolly good fellow"), to having bacon and eggs for breakfast when I came home, to bible study where the girls had a party type thing for me, to physio where he was impressed with my progress, to dinner in the city with Bec, Sarah, Steve, Andrew, Bess and Dad, and then Star Wars Episode III with them as well. All in all, my birthday was busy but awesomely fun!
Saturday I spent doing an assigment, a teaching presentation for Music Movement and Dance. It went well, I was teaching instrumental playing for a stage 2 (years 3-4) class. The piece I did was called Sengko, it is indonesion and good fun. The actual presentation went well - I was very dissapointed with it on the day, but I am a rather harsh critic of myself and I came out with a distinction plus.
Sunday I had church which was good, all about your priorities and how Paul farewelled the Ephesians - very good reminder and yeah I really appreciated it. I then came home did a little more work on my assignment and went out to the shops (Castle Towers) with Andrew and Bess. We bought them some sheets and an electric blanket... I bought a heater and a Lemon Zester (don't ask!) hehe. We then went for coffee and hazlenut chocolate cake... was soooo good. I also bought flowers. :-) ::smiles::
Monday was uni, it was alright.. my presentation and science (lots of fun!). Things went well Monday. I also had bible study which was good and some of my students didn't turn up - Thankyou God!

So that brings me to today! Our Music Composition is very cool which is another answer to prayer! Life is then on the whole busy but manageable - and thankyou to my bible study group who are praying for me for all the work (and how stressed I was about it last night), God is certainly answering your prayers, and I thank you for yeah praying and sustaining me in that way.

Oh well on that note I might go, do the necessary things before bed and clock in.
P.S. Looking forward to my party on friday! Stay tuned for photos from various events :-P

In Christ,
Jenny

Hi Everyone,
Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, I've been relatively snowed under with work - well at least attempting to do work...

Not heaps has been happening, I've just been flat out getting stuff done! I have quite a few assignments due before the end of this semester (8 to be precise). So that means lots of work for me, but I will take time out occasionally to write here.

My job as registrar for ISCF conference has started! I got mailed the brochures today which means I will start getting people's forms in the mail... will be fun to be all important :-P

I thought I might include my to do list just so you can all laugh at what I have to do :-P

1. Answer questions from my last practicum
2. Start answering next weeks questions
3. Do some more work in my PLP (professional learning portfolio)
4. Read Drama text book
5. Update English notes
6. Complete the Teaching Resource Folder (TRF) for Music Movement and Dance
7. English Education 1 exam prep
8. Professional Experience Discussion Group prep
9. Write Teddy Bears Picnic arrangement for flute choir
10. Post Birthday Party Invitations

So there you go that's everything I have to do on top of other stuff :D YaY for being busy :-P

Well it's now 2:10 and I know this blog hasn't been anywhere in the least exciting, but at least I did blog! :D

Love
Jen

Bored...ish.. well not really

Hey everyone,
It's Saturday afternoon and I don't really have anything to do. It's kind of a lazy day, and I feel very lazy. I made lots of birthday party invitations last night and earlier today and addressed them all, I also had a shower and read my bible - that was fun. But yeah, I had a late night last night... I waas happy fo ti to be late, but I'm feeling a little tired.
It's mother's day tomorrow, that should be fun.. I think it's the first year we haven't had the family function at my place... YaY for mum sayingseh can't do it! I'm very proud of her.
My dogs are scratching on the back door because they want out, except we are trying to not let them out because it's wet outsdide and they will get all muddy.
Anyway, I don't really have anything exciting to write... so I shall go i guess....
oh one more thing, my bro and i were laughing about the funnyness of translators... here is something I translated... (P.S. i asked for suggestions from ppl I was talking to on MSN and this was all i got....)

"bored? check out http://alistairhasablog.blogspot.com ... the only site you'll ever need"
this was translated into french and I got this....
"alésé? contrôle hors de http://alistairhasablog.blogspot.com... le seul emplacement que vous aurez besoin jamais"....
I then translated thata from French back to English... and got
"reamed? control out of HTTP://alistairhasablog.blogspot.com... the only site which you will never have need",
and then back to French....
"alésé? commande hors de HTTP:// alistairhasablog.blogspot.com... le seul emplacement que vous n'aurez jamais le besoin"
and then finally back to English...
"reamed? order out of HTTP:// alistairhasablog.blogspot.com... the only site which you will never have the need"...

Funny eh...

Well, I thought I would update you on the knee saga... I went to the surgeon this morning.. I have no bandages any more just tubi-grip. I also have my stitches gone too!! This is super exciting YaY. It looks sooo cool... oh! and I have screws in my leg holding in the tendon! OK! shhh! I'm not some made sick weird person! It is cool... i mean if you had had this done you'd think it was cool too! Oh haah it's funny because the two lines aren't parallel and the surgeon was like "Sad, they aren't parallel" haha I laughed.
His nurse Bernidette is really nice, I really like her. She fixed me all up and stuff which was good... but yeah she's really sweet. Oh, I have to go back in 2 weeks and have an x-ray to see if they need to remove the screws ::: NOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo::: Please no!!!!!!!!!!!! Anything but to go under the needle/knife again. But yeah, my knee is getting better, i'm in the brace for another 2 weeks ish and so that's heaps better... hmm...
