wedding + dancing + dislocation = jen

Well yes. Today was Abra's wedding, she looked lovely, such a princess! it was so lovely - such a beautiful wedding (bridesmaids wore pink which made it even more special keke j/k)
Yeah, no on the whole it was a lovely wedding, the reception place looked gorgeous like a flairy kingdom! (awwwwww)

haha but yes, this won't be a hugely long entry - want to sleep before pain killers wear off... but yes we were dancing having a fab time busting some moves, and then next thing jen's on the floor clutching her knee, and going hmm... this is not normal for the knee cap to be detached... oh look i've dislocated my knee... haha (3rd person is more dramatic). So david bell (who's a doctor) came and popped it back, and it was all good until it started to hurt, and so jen (3rd person) begins to cry.. a lot... but yes.

I am in bed now, with it strapped... swollen and all. but it is feeling slightly better... and hopefully will continue to get better as the week goes on... id like to be able to walk down the aisle and dance at Andrew adn Bess's wedding.

so yes, wedding+dancing+dislocation=jen

I went driving... and came back alive

Yo!
I just went driving, 100km's to wisemans ferry and back. It was fun, although got a bit boring driviing at 80 without having to use the clutch - of course until i hit the hair pin haha, and was going at like 15 HAHA dad: "SLOW DOWN!" hahaha it was fun. but yeah, i've missed driving, haha i drove all the way home, and even stopped and was able to start again! (exciting for me). haha.
My arms are tired now, haha, i must have been gripping a little hard..... haaha. I LOVE THE MIRAGE! it's sooo easy to drive... except no power... which is sad...... hahahahha. well compared to our camry or my bro's SV6

brr, it's cold in here...

BRR, IT'S COLD IN HERE, THERE MUST BE SOME..... cold front making everything cold.

As, the above section said, I am cold. And I am also really really realy really really really sick of making cheerleading pompoms... only another 10, 15ish to go. Mum's choir is singing in the schools spectacular this weekend, and guess who was roped into making the cheerleading pompoms for their thingy thing. - very descriptive

If there is another word i am starting to become sick of, it's wedding. Agh, we had a family wedding meeting today. It was... (ahem) interesting.

I also have a new student today. I think her name is sophie, but not sure.
I am still cold ahahaha. I should maybe have a warm bath to be warmed up.
OOOOOO guess what. I am ashamed. I broke my diet well and truely today :'( ::cries:: we bought mud cake. And i ate some. It was tasty, but sad at the same time.

Oh well... i shall go amuse Alistair for a while... he look slike he could possibly be bored and have nothng to say (ie. [9[i00}}kf./////;.;././;..../08*]) Yes.. he will understand htat...

People read my blog?!

haha, i guess the lack of comments doesn't mean lack of readers! haha.

So yes, I am sorry my dearest blog that i have neglected you for a few days... so i will tell almost all!

Saturday!
I woke up at 7:45, 7:50, 7:55, 8:00 and got out of bed. Then showered etc, packed for camp (more later) and talked on MSN/ICQ. So yes.. 2.5 (minus 5 mins) hours later at 10:25... i call my bro to see if he can bring an extra sleepingbag. We are supposed to leave at 10:30, and i woke him up haha. So we left at about 11:30... and left pennant hills 11:50... the thing started at 12:00 which was pretty funny because it was in Penrith. So we left, and sang and talked about lots of things which was fun.
The camp was the "summer camp house party" for all the small group leaders at Presbyterian Youth's summer camp... (ie, me and bec are 2 of them). It is a weekend designed to train us for the event, and give us a bit of a heads up. Was good. We had fun, and I learnt quite a lot - which is good.
That went until Sunday arvo about 1pm. (Oh, and we played this cool game, where we did a simulation of camp, and we were in groups of three tied together, and we had to go around to different aspects of camp and sort out problems and we were awarded mintees for our solutions.. lets just say.. bec kelly and i got 83... haha)
Yeha, but it was fun.

Then we went to the shops on the way home, Andrew bought "LoLa;s THeme" by Shape shifteres.. and i bought shoes.
Then I went to Bess's kitchen tea, where it's like a celebration of her marriage.. mel and I hung out together, and then we went to youth group and played this game where we had to build a "neuclear bomb" type thing it was reallly funny... I sprinted from someone trying to pull off my armband. and now I am sore.

We then went to study/dinner at hte Irvins for youth group.. and andrew says to me and bec and mel as we get out of the car, this is the psalm we're doing... can you lead the study. But it was good, we learnt a lot trying to teach (well I did anyway).

We seniors had a really challenging study last night, on Titus 2: 11-14

Titus 2

11For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. 12It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13while we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

It's what being a christian is all about. The fact that God has not only granted us eternal life, but that we were created to be a people of his, eagar to do what is good in God's eyes. It was very challenging. Very good study last night. I spent a lot of time afterwards reading my bible and praying which was very good.... and i even started singing in front of bec, (but i didn't really notice), but next thing i knew i was crying on her shoulder.
And then, (so embaressing) it was possibly Abra's last night leading youth group (she gets married on sat :-) ) and so i gave her a hug and burst into tears... how embaressing! Lots of stuff is happenig, a brother getting married, a good friend getting married... my best friend getting married (my bro)... and lots of changes. and it's a bit hard, but I know that it is wonderful that they are getting married and i'm really happy for them :-)

But yes. I is the hungry, and stuff.. so i'm going ot go!

The matrix

Horror of horror to all those that know me, but i like the matrix. Haha. I went to Alistair's house yesterday with Sarah, Bec and Bob and we watched the matrix trilogy and the animatrix. We also saw cool runnings and Ever after... It was fun.
We ate heaps of crap.. and laughed a lot. It was fun. Bob went home about 9pm and Sarah and Bec and I left at 12:30am. Haha. Soo late. I slept pretty awfully last night too, so i'm a little bit out of it today. But that is ok.

Oh i was told to tell you about my aspestos (sp?) dream.
I had this dream that I was in a fish shop with my brother Andrew. We were looking at fighting fish, and these two fish started to fight and so I put a hole in the fish tank to get rid of one so they wouldn't. (it turned out that the fish tank contained aspestos, which was a deadly airbourne virus). I then turned around to see this massive fighting fish barring it's teeth at me, so as any afraid person would do, I opened the door to the pet shop and ran out with andrew.
So, as you can imagine, the aspestos started to infect everyone because of me. It was really quite bizzare. They then said that anyone who had the disease should hang a while piece of material outside their window, and they would be escorted to the Opera House (?!?) where they would be quarentined. Heaps of people were dieing. Amy stebbing was there too, she didn't want to go to the opera house though, so she made bread with her mum instead. ::random::
so yeah, it turned out that everyone died practically because of me and the aspestos. I think i lived, but i didn't get to the end of the dream...

So yes, that was the dream that made everyone laugh yesterday... so strange. Had another weird one last night, i kept looking at a photo of this person........ and yeah it was weird.
i'm like at 4 in the morning "God stop this dream! i'm going mad! hahaha"

But yes. *sigh* i am the weird.
Oh, exciting news, i got a call today from a lady who wants her daughter to have flute lessons and that a lady from Pennant Hills Primary recommended me.. so that's exciting, (and no the lady wasn't mum :-P) . So yeah, she starts next tuesday which is exciting for me.

Oh well, i shall go talk to alistair now, as he is the only person online... and i can't be bothered to think of anythign else to write... haha!!!!!!!!

blah blah

Hey y'all

I am currently sitting on my bed, with my laptop and listening to pinochio songs... and now some wiiiiiiicked jazz thing Rock of ages - brentwood jazz orchestra.... so cool. I have no reason for writing today, other than the fact that you people might like to hear a little more about what i've been doing... or not either way.

I've been hanging out with mum today, been doing some cleaning, i woke up at 10:30 when my alarm went off, ate breakfast.... cereal... ::shocked:: then did the ironing, tried on the right dress for the wedding, vaccumed the floors, found a spider on the vaccum cleaner - screamed, then refused to go near it... haha.

Oh, scary thought. My mum put on christmas carols today..... agh... it's getting to that time of year again, and we are going christmas shopping tonight! haha..... oh dear. I need to start saving money.

I am probably going to Alistair's tomorrow to watch lots of matrix.. .i should take my teddy... either shluffles, or adrian so that if i get scared haha.. nah sarah will be there, i can cling to her!

I don't really have anything interesting to say haha. oh ...... the person who made a comment in my blog.... master aal or something... i have no idea who it is! ahha.. possibly alistair, cause it's closest... but i don't know haha. So random i am sometimes. *sigh* i have my first flute lesson in ages tomorrow, and i need to learn how to play something before i go hahha. I need to practice... it's 1:55pm now.. i teach at 4:30, so i have a bit of time, which is a good thing.

Dearestest

Hey darlinks,
Caro reminded me that i haven't written in here in a while so i thought i would, cause i also have some stuff on my mind.
I went out with Bec today - we went shopping and then to dinner with our friend Bonny from CTHS.

But, that's not what i want to write about. I want to let you all know about something, and the reason I am going into teaching kids with special needs, and why i am willing to do anything to get into that course.
The reason why, is for a young girl who's name is Ella, and indeed her whole family. Ella suffers from Cornelia de Lange syndrome (CdLS).

CdLS is a congenital syndrome, meaning it is present from birth. Most of the signs and symptoms may be recognized at birth or shortly thereafter. A child need not demonstrate each and every sign or symptom for the diagnosis to be made.

As with some other syndromes, individuals with CdLS strongly resemble one another. Common characteristics include: low birth weight (usually, but not always, under five pounds), delayed growth and small stature, and small head size (microcephaly). Typical facial features include thin eyebrows which frequently meet at midline (synophrys), long eyelashes, short upturned nose and thin, downturned lips.

Other frequent findings include excessive body hair (hirsutism), small hands and feet, partial joining of the second and third toes, incurved fifth fingers, gastroesophageal reflux, seizures, heart defects, cleft palate, bowel abnormalities, feeding difficulties, and developmental delay. Limb differences, including missing limbs or portions of limbs, usually fingers, hands or forearms, are also found in some individuals.

Ella's family are great friends of mine, and they are very dear to me. They are not at all sad that they have Ella as their daughter and love her just as our parents love us.
Some of you may have seen her story in the sydney morning herald (http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/Some-help-when-sisters-cant-do-it-all-themselves/2004/11/11/1100131137147.html) if you haven't. You may have to register.. but to escape i think you can go to.... http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/ and then look for the heading "Some sisters can't do it all themselves" and read that. and that's ella and her sister Chelsea who is a kick but flute player. :) (her mum used to teach me).

Wear a green ribbon guys, and support those families with CdLS members! Give them a hope.

word of the day?

It has come to my attention how the irish use some phrases a lot. Och aye.... wee... haha. It makes me laugh a lot because it sounds so funny. Another thing that's fun to hear them say is "cool" cause it's amusing. My auntie Audrey and Uncle George seem to be having a time. Audrey makes me laugh a lot. It has become her mission to see if i have a crush on a boy.. haha quite the funny. She's like "is there anyone that i need to know about?" haha and i'm like "know about what? huh? i'm so lost?!" - ahh the fun of ignorance. Haha. It's so funny cause Audrey and George and Mum when you put htem in the same room are just like me and Andrew, battling each other for the last word. Haha they are saying that I am not looking at hte keyboard and they are amused. I just had to give a speal about why i don't have to look at the keyboard to type. And now they are saying that they are going to swat me. Oh dear.. :: runs away:: ahh quite the funny.

I dont' really know what else to write. I could do the dialogue that I am hearing currently, but you wouldn't understand. It is all so amusing and I have finally decided to go overseas very soon, because otherwise i'll be so bored, j/k cause I want to spend time with my rellos from over there.

Hmm.. did you know that there is no one online... how sad for me. There is no-one to talk to. Silly people who go on schooolies and work. :: looks at mel, bec, sarah, caro, jenny, alistair ::

Yesterday we went to the coast, terrigal, avoca & the entrance. We had fun. George kept falling asleep was funny. What else to write.nothing which means that I am to go to move my future sister in law's stuff to her future house. Lots of futures? no only one.
